Katherine Harder
Katherine Harder, a 31-year-old high school language arts teacher
she thought it would be a good idea to have sex with one of her 17-year-old students in a car in the school parking lot. Well, it wasn’t such a good idea after all because the police caught them and arrested Harder. While in Kansas the age of consent is 16 years old, state law bans sexual relations between educators and students even if the sexual relation is consensual. Harder was accused of illegal sexual relations. Later on, the accusation grew as the accusation upgraded to the aggravated endangering of a child, to which she pleaded no contest. She later on received a suspended 12-month jail sentence.
Angela Comer
Angela Comer, a 26-year-old middle school teacher, and mother of a 4-year-old son, went missing with a 14-year-old 8th-grade student AND her 4-year-old, which is an abomination. They were found after two weeks in a hotel in Mexico. According to authorities, they had planned to marry each other; however, they failed to do so because the boy didn’t have parental consent. They’re always scared of commitment. They were finally, thankfully, caught, and Comer served 16 months in jail. Comer then pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree sodomy-nobody asked her to, she just kind of volunteered the information one count of custodial interference. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison. The 26-year-old tried to turn the tables on her story in an attempt to save face before a sentencing hearing, claiming it was the 14-year-old who abducted HER, held her at gunpoint, and then made her drive to Mexico. She went on to say that he broke a guitar over her head after she had tried to escape. Unfortunately for Ms. Comer, her sentence did not change.
Cara Dickey
Cara Dickey was fired from her teaching position after school officials somehow discovered “romantic” texts between Dickey and a 14-year-old male student. The pair ran off together later in the day after the texts but were found the following morning. Dickey was sleeping in her car and the boy was discovered in the local mall. Police learned she had provided the boy with rum, Tylenol, and NyQuil as part of a suicide pact. Dickey was indicted on unlawful imprisonment, promoting a suicide attempt, and endangering the welfare of a child. In August, two months later, Dickey was indicted on rape after police learned she had sexual intercourse with the boy at least twice after the first incident. She pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree statutory rape and was sentenced to 4 years in jail and an official sex offender designation.
Nicole Long
Nicole Long This 29-year-old high school English teacher was arrested on charges of sexual battery of a 17-year-old male student. Long and the student had sexual relations in Long’s home and when the charges were filed, Long was almost 7 months pregnant. She never revealed who the father of the baby was. She pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual battery and received 45 days in jail.
Autumn Leathers
Autumn Leathers, a 24-year-old high school English teacher was arrested for having “sexual relations” with a 16-year-old student. Even though the neighbors were initially told by Leathers that the boy was her brother, after repeatedly noticing him leaving her home late into the night they called the police. The boy later told the police that he had a 3-month affair with Leathers. Leather pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree sex offense and all other charges were dropped. She was given a 1 year suspended jail sentence and was required to register as a sex offender.
Sarah Jones
Sarah Jones, 26, a former Bengals cheerleader, is another northern Kentucky teacher arrested for allegedly having sex with a student. Sarah pleaded guilty to the sex crime charges in a plea bargain which kept her out of jail. She walked from court holding the hand of the 17-year-old male victim. This is typical of females who assault teen males. If they seemingly obtain the love and partnership of the male victim, they claim that it was “true love” and attempt to attain respectability.
McBee, Melissa Kellie
McBee, age 47, from Simpsonville, South Carolina, was taken into custody and charged with criminal sexual misconduct with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. McBee was a Carolina High School coach when, as per the victim, she was sexually assaulted and offered alcohol by McBee.
Ryan, Kellie
Ryan, 26, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, was arrested and charged with two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of statutory rape. The cops pronounced that Ryan, who used to be a physical education and health teacher at Trinity Catholic High School, was responsible for the crime.
CARRIE MCCANDLESS
Schoolteacher Carrie McCandless initiated an illicit love affair with her student and exchanged approximately 80 inappropriate messages with him. Their illicit love affair went public after being caught making out during a camping trip with the victim. The incident kept McCandless behind bars for 45 days, in addition to five years on probation. She is also registered as a sex offender in Georgia.
Conti, Damian Joseph
Damian Joseph Conti, aged 35, was indicted for six counts of felony sexual activity with a minor and having an affair with a student. Florida court documents show that he was arrested in Lake Worth after misleading Palm Beach County deputies, mentioning being romantically involved with a girl who was 16. At that time, he was working as an English teacher at SouthTech Academy, a charter school in Boynton Beach.
