    TERMS OF SERVICE

You or any other person (“Client”) formally acknowledge and accept the terms described herein by hiring Sneaky Cat Private Investigations & Process Serving (hereinafter referred to as “Sneaky Cat P.I.”). This agreement covers any and all services to be rendered by the Sneaky Cat P.I., the services are but are not limited to the services of investigating privately, process services, polygraph testing, document collection, nationwide skip locations, criminal background reports, and notarial services. They are contractual and legally binding once you use our services.

We pledge to be guided with integrity, discretion, and professionalism in providing high-quality, law-abiding investigational and legal support services. The client should carefully read these terms before seeking or proceeding with any service thereafter.

    Engagement & Fee Responsibility

All services Sneaky Cat P.I. provides are standard fees, charged when one initiates the service, with or without success. The fees per task, inquiry, or attempt are charged according to the existing rate schedule at request time.

Fees are based on the professional time, administration complexity, database access charges, travel costs (if any), software use fee, and reporting. The clients admit that even failed searches, efforts to perform a service, or unidentified results do not give them the right to abandon a payment for work done.

The clients who decide to terminate a service in its lifespan are paying the prorated amount of completed work up to its cancellation, although no final product was completed. Unless mutual consent is given, all invoices fall due upon service completion.

Limitations of Data & Information Accuracy

Although Sneaky Cat P.I. employs all reasonable efforts to ensure that information gathered is timely and accurate, much of our data comes through third-party vendors, unrestricted databases, and proprietary programs. Such sources can be but are not finite, including: court registries, vehicle registries, credit reporting, real estate filing, social media, and professional online directories.

Since these third-party repositories are involved, Sneaky Cat P.I. does not assure that any information obtained is up to date, complete, and without errors. There are delays in finding the results or reporting, jurisdiction data gaps, closed records, or the system is down, all of which are materializing in outcome quality. Interretaining our services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these constraints; and he or she waives any claim against Sneaky Cat P.I. based on inaccuracy, omission, or outdated information provided by external sources.

The Client shall ensure that she/he has the right to request and use any investigative data or records that may be obtained, entirely at their own responsibility. This entails observing all the possible limitations regarding background checks, surveillance, asset searches, and the inquiry into credit or criminal history.

Violation of the information by its unauthorized or unlawful use, with or without negligence, will lead to the termination of services immediately, as well as to the notification of civil or criminal liability of the Client.

Affidavits of service/non-service are done once complete, and alternative services of service (e.g., substitute service or motion to court) can be done at the request of the Client at additional cost.
